Product Description: The MS850 Cordura Straps feature a history dating back 70 years. Originally created by DuPont for military use, Cordura was first utilized as a tire material during World War II. It was then reclassified as a stronger form of rayon yarn before being adopted into the nylon family and incorporated into everyday products.

Hadley-Roma, the manufacturer of these watch bands, has a rich history dating back to 1903 when it was founded as the Hadley Jewelry Company. Hadley Jewelry Co. went on to invent the original expansion bracelet, patented in 1913, as well as other designs such as the ratchet folding bracelet in 1934. In 1986, Roma Industries merged with Hadley, and Hadley-Roma has since continued to be a leading manufacturer of watch attachments in North America.

Cordura, the primary material used in these watch bands, is a special, high-performance fabric originally designed for military use. It is a complex, high-tensile strength fabric made to withstand long-term wear and harsh environments. Cordura can be found in a variety of applications, including workwear, tents, and jackets.

These 100% vegan watch bands utilize Cordura for its long-lasting durability. The fabric is dyed in a variety of colors and paired with a durable, synthetic vegan leather called Lorica on the underside. The watch bands are stitched with medium padding and assembled using a turned-edge technique, which minimizes perspiration with a smooth edge finish.

The high-tensile strength of the woven Cordura fabric makes it extremely durable and long-lasting. Cordura and Lorica are both synthetic, hypoallergenic materials that provide comfort and water repellency. The watch bands are secured with a stainless steel, nickel-free buckle.
